- Phase 2 of the Emission Rule starts 1 January 2009.
Need to ensure that all vehicles are complled to MR2A by 30 December.
Vehicles with the following emission codes will NOT be able to be complied after 30 December 2008.
From 1 January 2009, the emission codes acceptable for used Japanese imported petrol cars are;
GH, GJ, HN, HP, LA, LB, LN, LP, LQ, LS, LR, UQ, US, UR, XA, XB, YA, YB, ZA, ZB, GK, GL, HQ, HR, LC, LD, TC, TD, UC, UD, XC, XD, YC, YD, ZC, ZD, GM, HS, LE, TE, UE, XE, YE, ZE
or any three digit emission codes (eg, AAA, ABA, DAA)
